Staff Accountant (Hybrid, Norwalk, CT)

About the role

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to support key accounting operations and act as the primary contact for Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense matters. This role will contribute to financial close processes, assist with Oracle Fusion migration, and collaborate with multiple finance functions in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense inquiries, coordinating with shared services and business stakeholders.
• Assist employees and buyers with purchase requisitions, orders, invoice and payment questions, and voucher holds.
• Support expense report and corporate card issues, including policy guidance and payment resolution.
• Prepare and post accurate journal entries for monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.
• Perform detailed balance‑sheet reconciliations and support internal and external audit requests.

Required profile

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail.
• Experience supporting accounting operations, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
