Sr. Manager, Program Management - Office of Pro Acceleration

About the role

The Office of Pro Acceleration brings together enterprise teams to accelerate market share capture for The Home Depot's Pro customer segment, a $700 billion market opportunity. The Senior Manager, Program Management acts as a strategic business partner to leadership and the link between executive leadership and initiative teams, architecting the operating rhythm and ways of working, driving governance, tracking OKRs and steering high-priority initiatives. The role is an individual contributor who initially partners with cross-functional teams and leadership, typically reporting to the Director, Office of Pro Acceleration.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce the operating rhythm and governance cadence for large, multi-unit business transformations.
• Partner with business partners and leadership to identify bottlenecks, surface interdependencies and resolve conflict.
• Understand financial goals, establish and track OKRs, and monitor progress so financial and strategic objectives are met.
• Challenge assumptions to keep teams on pace for critical milestones, securing cross-functional input, prioritization and resourcing where needed.

Required profile

• At least 6 years of experience in program management, PMO execution, strategy or cross-functional transformation.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a field related to the job.
• Legally permitted to work in the United States; must be 18 or older.
• Typical travel of 5% to 20% of the time, mostly sitting indoors; occasional lifting of light articles.

Required skills

• Proven track record of launching and running structured program management approaches for large cross-functional initiatives, driving predictable delivery and enforcing operating rhythms.
• Ability to align matrixed initiative teams, build cross-functional consensus and resolve friction.
• Exceptional ability to turn complex concepts into clear narratives and translate project data into crisp executive updates.
