Sr Manager Analytics Consulting - Sourcing & Vendor Strategy

About the role

HCSC is hiring a Senior Manager for Analytics Consulting in its Sourcing & Vendor Strategy function, based in Chicago. The role leads a team of analytics professionals supporting Strategic Sourcing, Contracting and Vendor Management, turning spend, supplier, contract, market and operational data into insights that drive cost optimization, value creation, risk mitigation and supplier performance improvement. It also sets data ownership, governance standards and accountability for procurement-related data.

Key responsibilities

• Develop actionable insights from spend, supplier, contract, market and operational data to improve cost, risk and supplier performance.
• Establish data ownership, governance standards and accountability for procurement data assets.
• Partner with Procurement, Finance, Operations and business stakeholders to build data-driven visualizations and deliver executive-level insights.
• Advance analytics capabilities and help stakeholders make informed decisions that maximize vendor return on investment.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Business Statistics, Accounting or Finance, or 4 years' experience.
• 7 years' experience working with internal stakeholders and clients, and 7 years' experience in data analysis and reporting on healthcare data.
• 4 years' leadership experience, including 2 years in a management position.
• Experience with vendor contracts, key metadata and the products and services procured by a large services organization.
• Preferred: 5 years' experience with Procurement and/or Supply Chain professionals, a Master's in Business Analytics or Information Management, and Alteryx certification.

Required skills

• Quantitative and qualitative standards, performance measures and statistical methodologies.
• Negotiation, decision-making and analytical skills, plus verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• PC proficiency in Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Preferred: coding in Python and Microsoft Visual Studio Code, and Power BI certification (PL-300 or DP-600).

What we offer

• Base pay range of $121,200 to $225,200, varying with skills, experience and location.
