Sports Medicine Sales Representative - Los Angeles

About the role

Stryker, a global medical technology company, is hiring a field-based Sports Medicine Sales Representative in Los Angeles. As the face of Stryker products, you act as a sales lead, educating doctors, nurses and staff on the use and maintenance of products and helping them choose the right solutions for sports-related injuries.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and lead sales pitches and demo meetings, and work with cross-divisional sales reps to set strategic goals and targets.
• Participate in trade shows, analyze the market territory and manage inventory reports.
• Negotiate prices and terms of transactions and solve product problems for customers.
• Educate doctors, nurses and staff on product use and maintenance, and run direct product evaluations in the operating room or office.
• Generate growth in sports medicine sales and train doctors on product usage.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent of five years of commercial sales or medical field experience, including operating room experience.
• 2-5 years of outside sales experience (medical fields preferred).
• Ability to drive an automobile.
• Confident communicator, influential networker, strategic closer who exceeds quarterly sales quotas, trusted subject matter expert and competitive achiever.
