Sous Chef for Michelin‑Starred Fine Dining Restaurant

About the role

Our Michelin‑starred restaurant group is seeking an experienced Sous Chef for Koshu Club, a 50‑seat Japanese‑inspired steak restaurant in Atlanta. The role leads kitchen operations, supports the culinary team, and upholds the high standards set by Executive Chef J. Trent Harris.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all kitchen stations, ensure they are set up, stocked and running smoothly for service, and work all stations including expo.
• Assist with ordering, inventory management, scheduling, and new menu rollouts while managing labor and food costs.
• Conduct deliveries inspection, verify quality, store properly, track inventory levels and reduce waste.
• Manage hiring, conduct interviews, train new team members and enforce policies and procedures.

Required profile

• 3+ years in fine‑dining hospitality with proven experience as a Lead Line Cook, Sous Chef or equivalent kitchen leadership.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to multitask and work positively with supervisors, management and coworkers.
• Demonstrated ability to produce accurate, high‑quality work, write reports and calculate food and labor costs.
• Active practice of food safety procedures and ability to train and motivate a team.
