Software Product Manager

About the role

Dematic is looking for a Product Manager for Industrial AI & Operational Intelligence to define, deploy and scale AI-driven capabilities within the Command Center platform. The role bridges AI engineering, software development, implementation and customer teams to bring practical AI use cases to warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing and automation operations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify high‑value AI opportunities, translate customer pain points into well‑defined use cases, and maintain a prioritized AI roadmap.
• Partner with AI engineers, scientists, software architects and UX designers to guide product decisions, define release plans and ensure solutions address real operating problems.
• Lead customer engagements from discovery through pilot execution and production rollout, delivering workshops, validation checklists and adoption guidance.
• Define validation frameworks, feedback loops and responsible AI governance to measure model quality, business impact and user trust.
• Support sales and commercial teams with narratives, demos, business cases and pricing models, and build referenceable customer stories.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in product management, solution consulting, industrial software or related fields.
• 3+ years managing software products involving AI, machine learning, advanced analytics or generative AI.
• Proven experience delivering technology solutions in industrial environments such as warehouses, distribution centers or manufacturing plants.
• Strong ability to translate ambiguous business problems into structured use cases, product requirements and measurable outcomes.

Required skills

• AI/ML concepts, LLMs, AI agents, MLOps, data pipelines, forecasting, anomaly detection, root‑cause analysis, causal AI, simulation.
• Industrial software platforms: WMS, WES, WCS, MES, digital twins, industrial IoT, telemetry, operational analytics.
