About the role

Lassie is building autonomous systems for doctors’ offices to automate busywork and streamline daily workflows. As a Security Engineer you will create and maintain the controls, systems, and engineering practices that protect customer data while enabling rapid product development.

Key responsibilities

• Build core security systems across access control, audit logs, data protection, monitoring, and incident readiness.
• Partner with engineering teams to threat‑model new agent workflows and embed security into the development process.
• Help the organization move quickly while earning the trust required to operate inside critical office systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience building security controls and engineering practices that protect customer data.
• Ability to collaborate with fast‑moving engineering teams and incorporate security early in the product lifecycle.
• Strong analytical mindset and comfort working in a small, flat, and ambitious environment.
