Software Engineer - AI-Native Auto Retail Platform

About the role

Ever is building an AI-native auto retail platform for electric vehicles, serving EV buyers and sellers online and offline. It is looking for a Software Engineer based in San Francisco, working onsite or hybrid, on its marketplace and operations platform. The salary is $140,000-$300,000, with equity options.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship core product features across the marketplace and operations platform.
• Partner with Product, Design, Data and Operations teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Take part in technical design reviews, architecture decisions and interviews.
• Help shape the technical roadmap and platform foundation.

Required profile

• 3-8+ years of experience building full-stack applications.
• Experience owning projects or leading teams in fast-paced environments.
• Startup mentality: thrives in ambiguity and rapid iteration with high ownership.
• Passion for building real-world products with visible impact.

Required skills

• Go and/or TypeScript
• Python and related frameworks such as React, Next.js and Vite
