Software Engineer, Agent (Brazilian Portuguese speaking)

About the role

Sierra is looking for a Software Engineer to design, build, and ship production‑grade AI agents that serve large enterprises and innovative startups. The role requires fluency in Brazilian Portuguese and English and focuses on delivering reliable, high‑performing AI solutions that drive revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver production‑grade AI agents that operate at scale across finance, healthcare, and commerce.
• Own the Agent Development Life Cycle from pilot to continuous iteration, establishing best practices.
• Partner directly with leaders at large enterprises and cutting‑edge startups to understand business challenges and embed AI agents.
• Shape Sierra’s core platform by surfacing unmet needs, prototyping new tools, and collaborating with research and product teams.

Required profile

• Professional fluency in Brazilian Portuguese and English.
• Experience building and scaling end‑to‑end production systems.
• Strong technical problem‑solving skills in fast‑changing, ambiguous environments.
• Builder mindset with high agency and ability to ship creative solutions.
• Comfort working directly with customers to solve real‑world problems.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production.
• Familiarity with eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering.
• Experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go.
