Software Development Engineer

About the role

The Software Development Engineer will collaborate with a skilled team to design and implement Azure‑based applications and automated tests for AVEVA’s cloud solutions. Working largely independently on moderately complex projects, the role balances technical design, coding, testing, and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AVEVA solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Evaluate system design and architecture, perform risk analysis, and create mitigation strategies.
• Make technical decisions regarding scaling, reliability, performance, and maintenance.
• Design and implement automated tests on Azure, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
• Apply Agile and Scrum methodologies throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, C#/.NET, and full‑stack development.
• Strong analytical skills, proactive attitude, and ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools and testing methodologies.
