Site Lead (UK) - TS/SCI with Polygraph

About the role

The Site Lead (UK) holds overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of an OCONUS site at GDIT, including implementing procedures and controls, planning and directing program execution, and monitoring and reporting progress. The role covers both technical issues and business processes, and involves Tier 3 sustainment of Ground Terminal (GT) antenna systems. It is a full-time, onsite position at a Government facility, with 40 scheduled weekly hours and 10-25% travel.

Key responsibilities

• Perform Tier 3 sustainment of GT antennas, including root cause analysis, fixes and documentation updates, and coordinate client approval of changes to the GT operational baseline
• Maintain B-level and C-level system specifications, interface control documents and other GT baseline documentation
• Manage GT antenna spares, replace failed hardware, perform calibrations and analyses outside the scope of T2, and report calibration results
• Identify obsolete equipment, recommend replacements, and coordinate procurement of parts and materials with Government approval
• Escalate issues to vendors capable of Tier 4 support and augment T2 sustainment for software and hardware anomalies
• Maintain COOP readiness for GT operations and support SE/SI activities

Required profile

• Top Secret SCI clearance with polygraph, obtainable now or soon; US citizenship required
• 8+ years of related experience, including leading multi-discipline teams and coordinating site operations
• Experience managing programs of similar scope, working daily with clients and other OCONUS sites
• Experience in 8x5 operational environments and special metrology projects
• Full-time, onsite at a Government facility

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of antenna/RF systems, signal paths, communications equipment, GT interfaces and test equipment
• Advanced fault isolation, failure analysis and root-cause analysis
• Configuration management, technical baseline control and configuration change management
• Technical guidance to less experienced personnel
