About the role

This is a Shift Leader position at a Taco Bell restaurant in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, managed by the franchisee B&G Food Enterprises. The Shift Manager supports the Restaurant General Manager by running effective work shifts and meeting Taco Bell standards. The franchisee is the only employer, and its wage and benefit programs can vary.

Key responsibilities

• Make sure Team Members complete all assigned duties and serve safe, quality food in a friendly manner
• Ensure the restaurant is a safe place for Team Members to work and for customers to visit
• Oversee and manage subordinate employees and give them direction
• Help and guide others, solve problems with a smile and ask for help when needed

Required profile

• At least 18 years old
• Strong preference for internal promotion from the Hourly Champion position
• Passes background check criteria and drug test
• Reliable transportation
• Able to do basic business math
• Positive attitude and good communication skills

Required skills

• Able to stock shelves and coolers
• Able to sweep and mop floors, dust shelves and lift and carry out trash containers
• Able to clean the parking lot and grounds around the restaurant
• Able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs. and stoop during 90% of shift time
