Front Desk Supervisor – Embassy Suites Baton Rouge

About the role

The Front Desk Supervisor supports the Front Office Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences at Embassy Suites Baton Rouge. This role ensures smooth front desk operations, high service standards, and compliance with brand policies.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise front desk activities during assigned shifts, greeting guests, handling inquiries, and managing room status.
• Conduct daily stand‑up meetings, coordinate with housekeeping and other departments, and resolve guest complaints following the “Make it Right” guidelines.
• Assist with training, motivate staff, and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Handle cash and credit transactions, monitor front office systems, and ensure accurate guest registration and checkout.

Required profile

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years hotel front desk experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with Hilton brand and Hilton OnQ system is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Hilton OnQ or similar property management systems.
• Cash handling and basic accounting skills.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to operate a PBX telephone system.
