About the role
The Shift Lead supports the Restaurant General Manager in running efficient, customer‑focused shifts at a Taco Bell franchise in Crescent City, CA. This position requires taking ownership of daily operations, solving problems proactively, and guiding team members.
Key responsibilities
- Execute the Manager‑In‑Charge routine, ensuring people, customers and service standards are met.
- Maintain food safety, quality, and order accuracy while handling customer complaints promptly.
- Oversee cash control, inventory, labor management and profit‑and‑loss assistance.
- Ensure team members complete shift excellence tasks, wear proper uniform, and keep the restaurant clean.
Required profile
- At least 18 years old, pass background check and drug test.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work scheduled hours on time.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lb and perform cleaning tasks.
- Basic business math skills and ability to stock shelves and coolers.
Required skills
- Cash handling and basic financial math.
- Inventory management and product rotation.
