Shift Lead

About the role

Boba Guys is seeking a Shift Lead to ensure an exceptional experience for both guests and team members at their Costa Mesa location. The role focuses on leading the shift, coaching staff, and maintaining high standards of service and product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional hospitality and service to guests and the team.
• Anticipate guest needs and stay one step ahead in service.
• Problem‑solve, manage guest relationships, and ensure product quality.
• Deploy team members to maximize speed of service and guest experience.
• Protect store assets by following safety, food handling, security, maintenance, and cash handling procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels, track shortages, and communicate needs.
• Communicate essential information clearly and maintain confidentiality.
• Assist store management in training and developing team members.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of work experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver excellent customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Effective time management and delegation abilities.
• Sound judgment and problem‑solving skills.
• Alignment with Boba Guys’ vision, mission, and values.

Required skills

• Ability to lift and move up to 25 lb regularly and up to 40 lb occasionally.
• Accurate cash and coin handling.
