Service Technician – Sorella at Loretta Heights

About the role

The Service Technician supports the physical upkeep of Loretta Heights, ensuring that apartments, common areas, and amenities meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality. This full‑time, onsite position involves responding to resident requests, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing vacant units for new occupants.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident service requests and conduct preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and repairing according to policies and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by cleaning, pressure‑washing, trash removal, and painting as needed.
• Inspect contractor and vendor work to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Required profile

• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) in all weather conditions.
• Compliance with Greystar safety policies, including participation in safety meetings and completion of OSHA training.

Required skills

• EPA Type 1 certification for refrigerant recycling.
• EPA Type 2 certification for refrigerant recycling.
• EPA Universal certification for refrigerant recycling.
