Leasing Professional – Apartment Community

About the role

This role coordinates the community’s marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to meet occupancy, revenue, and resident‑retention goals. The Leasing Professional greets prospects, conducts tours, processes applications, and ensures a smooth move‑in experience while maintaining high resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities, including qualifying prospects, showing apartments, processing applications, credit and background checks, and preparing lease packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues, and ensure show units meet company standards.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans using internet tools, resident referral programs, and employer outreach.
• Utilize property‑management software to track availability, record traffic, and manage resident data.
• Support lease renewal efforts by preparing renewal letters, contacting residents early, and securing signed agreements.

Required profile

• All state and local licensing requirements must be met; valid driver’s license required for operating a golf cart.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lb independently.
