Service Supervisor – Halden (Red Oak Community)

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Service Supervisor to oversee technical and mechanical maintenance for the Halden at Red Oak community. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, and final inspections.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance of grounds, building exteriors, interiors, breezeways, signage, leasing office, garbage areas, parking lots, and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by service team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials, collaborating with the Community Manager to order supplies within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance tasks as outlined in the policy manual.

Required profile

• Ability to diagnose mechanical or technical defects and implement effective repairs.
• Experience overseeing make‑ready processes and coordinating vendors.
• Strong attention to detail in maintaining community standards and appearance.
• Capability to manage inventory and stay within budgetary guidelines.
• Proactive approach to preventative maintenance and safety compliance.
