Service Engineer Internship

About the role

Join Bosch Rexroth’s HydraForce division as a Service Engineer Intern. You will support the Service, Quality and Sales Engineering teams, gaining hands‑on experience with hydraulic systems and customer‑focused problem solving.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Service Engineers in 8D problem‑solving activities and root‑cause analysis.
• Create and modify dashboards or scorecards, using tools such as Power BI.
• Track customer claim evaluations and support continuous‑improvement projects.
• Review returned materials, verify complaints, and perform hydraulic testing for failure analysis.
• Assemble and disassemble hydraulic valves and manifolds for diagnostic purposes.
• Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and prints.

Required profile

• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in Six Sigma or Lean methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with engineering teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (required).
• Power BI knowledge (a plus).
• MiniTab (a plus).
• Hydraulic valve assembly/disassembly.
• Interpretation of hydraulic schematics.
• Six Sigma and Lean tools.
• Root‑cause analysis and failure testing.
