About the role
Join Bosch Rexroth’s HydraForce division as a Service Engineer Intern. You will support the Service, Quality and Sales Engineering teams, gaining hands‑on experience with hydraulic systems and customer‑focused problem solving.
Key responsibilities
- Assist Service Engineers in 8D problem‑solving activities and root‑cause analysis.
- Create and modify dashboards or scorecards, using tools such as Power BI.
- Track customer claim evaluations and support continuous‑improvement projects.
- Review returned materials, verify complaints, and perform hydraulic testing for failure analysis.
- Assemble and disassemble hydraulic valves and manifolds for diagnostic purposes.
- Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and prints.
Required profile
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in Six Sigma or Lean methodologies.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with engineering teams.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel (required).
- Power BI knowledge (a plus).
- MiniTab (a plus).
- Hydraulic valve assembly/disassembly.
- Interpretation of hydraulic schematics.
- Six Sigma and Lean tools.
- Root‑cause analysis and failure testing.
