Electrical Engineer – New Grad (Dec 2026)

About the role

Applied Intuition is seeking bright electrical engineers to design and build next‑generation compute, sensor, and interface hardware for autonomous and AI‑driven vehicles and industrial equipment. This new‑grad position offers the chance to work across the full hardware lifecycle, from schematic creation to production support.

Key responsibilities

• Design and review schematics and PCB layouts for compute, sensor, and interface modules.
• Support hardware bring‑up, debug board‑level and component‑level issues.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with firmware, software, and mechanical teams to integrate hardware into embedded systems.
• Work with vendors and contract manufacturers on prototyping, DFM/DFT reviews, and production ramp‑up.
• Maintain hardware documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and test reports.

Required profile

• BS/BA, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Graduating by December 2026.
• Strong fundamentals in circuit design, digital and analog electronics, and PCB layout.
• Hands‑on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, datasheets, and hardware specifications.
