Electrical System Integration Engineer - New Grad

About the role
Applied Intuition is seeking a New Grad Electrical Systems Integration Engineer to work on vehicle electrical architecture and bench validation. You will design automotive‑grade wire harnesses, build hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HiL) test benches, and perform firmware bring‑up to validate electrical systems from schematic to a running vehicle.
Key responsibilities
- Design routing, retention, and specifications for harnesses, cables, and connectors.
- Build, instrument, and maintain HiL test benches for system integration and validation.
- Perform firmware bring‑up on new ECUs and vehicle hardware, including flashing, debugging boot and communication issues.
- Develop BOMs, wire, and material specifications.
- Create and manage 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings using SolidWorks and Altium.
- Write scripts and tooling to automate bench test execution and data capture.
- Collaborate with OEMs, vendors, and cross‑functional teams to drive program delivery.
Required profile
- BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or an equivalent program.
- New graduate ready to start a full‑time role.
Required skills
- Wire harness design and routing.
- SolidWorks and Altium CAD tools.
- Hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HiL) test bench development.
- Firmware bring‑up, flashing, and debugging.
- Knowledge of CAN, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet interfaces.
- Scripting for test automation (e.g., Python).
