Senior Workforce Software Consultant (Configuration/Technical)

About the role

Next Generation, Inc. is looking for a Senior Workforce Software Consultant to lead the configuration and technical implementation of WorkForce Software solutions. This fully remote position requires translating functional requirements into robust, scalable configurations while supporting occasional client‑site visits.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and implement WorkForce Software modules such as pay rules, schedules, attendance policies, and workflow automation based on detailed functional specifications.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet business needs.
• Perform system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to guarantee quality and compliance.
• Document configuration processes and contribute to the internal knowledge base.
• Participate in client workshops and provide expert guidance on best‑practice configurations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience configuring and implementing WorkForce Software solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• WorkForce Software configuration and technical implementation.
• XML and SQL for data manipulation and integration.
• Familiarity with WorkForce Software reporting tools and integrations.
• Understanding of workforce management concepts such as timekeeping, scheduling and compliance.

What we offer

• Competitive base salary ranging from $100,000 to $130,000 USD per year, depending on experience, education and location.
