Senior Sourcing Specialist – Indirect Procurement

About the role

Shield AI is looking for a detail‑oriented and proactive Senior Sourcing Specialist to join its Supply Chain team in Seattle. The full‑time position focuses on managing a diverse portfolio of indirect procurement categories, including facilities, production tooling, IT hardware, software, and engineering equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and manage purchase orders for indirect spend categories, ensuring accuracy, timely delivery, and alignment with internal requirements.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Facilities, and IT stakeholders to source goods and services that meet cost, schedule, and quality expectations.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times with suppliers to achieve optimal value and support budget objectives.
• Maintain accurate records in the Deltek Costpoint ERP system, including supplier data, PO tracking, and delivery schedules.
• Support supplier qualification, onboarding, and compliance with Shield AI standards.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or sourcing with a focus on indirect categories such as facilities, IT, software, or capital equipment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and high‑volume transactional work while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities to partner effectively with internal teams and suppliers.
