Senior Software/Data Engineer

About the role

At CINC, you will own data transport, transformation, modeling, and analytics on the TruBase platform, delivering institutional‑grade insights for top real‑estate professionals. The role requires deep expertise in software architecture, data modeling, and entity resolution at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design and scale fault‑tolerant distributed systems, balancing consistency and availability.
• Own database engineering: schema design, indexing, and query optimization for low‑latency access.
• Build, monitor, and maintain high‑throughput ETL/ELT pipelines ensuring data integrity.
• Implement observability, distributed tracing, and profiling to identify bottlenecks.
• Drive technical innovation through PoCs, document architectural decisions, and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of distributed‑system concepts such as idempotence, consistency models, and consensus protocols.
• Strong knowledge of database internals, storage engines, and data‑format tiering.
• Experience with data streaming platforms like Kafka, Pulsar, or Kinesis.
• Proficiency in performance debugging and profiling tools.
