Senior SEO Analyst

About the role

The Home Depot is hiring a Senior SEO Analyst to drive organic growth and visibility for assigned product categories, site segments and experiences on homedepot.com. The analyst analyzes website performance and applies SEO best practices to help the site rank competitively for targeted keywords, coordinating with internal business teams, engineering partners, third-party service providers and vendors. The role reports to the SEO Manager and has no direct reports.

Key responsibilities

• SEO strategy and analysis (30%): monitor keyword and site performance and research ways to increase organic traffic and content visibility.
• Project planning and implementation (25%): work with partners to plan, prioritize and implement SEO optimizations.
• Reporting and measurement (15%): track category performance, measure the impact of SEO projects and give data-driven insights.
• Cross-functional partnership (20%): meet stakeholders to align on opportunities, risks and priorities, and represent SEO so its metrics are understood and prioritized.
• Professional development and process improvement (10%): stay current on SEO industry changes and incorporate new strategies into existing processes.

Required profile

• Aged 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or GED; 3 years of preferred experience.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities at once.

Required skills

• Preferred: enterprise-level SEO experience, preferably in e-commerce.
• Preferred: experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Deepcrawl, Brightedge and Moz.
• Preferred: strong analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and proven ability to advocate for SEO in a matrixed environment.
