Senior SAP Technology Lead – ABAP, BTP & AI

About the role

The Senior SAP Technology Lead will provide hands‑on technical design leadership for a newly implemented SAP S/4HANA ERP system within an automotive distribution, high‑volume supply‑chain environment. Reporting to the SAP Center of Excellence, the role bridges business, functional, and Application Managed Services (AMS) teams to ensure solutions follow SAP best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Lead functional and solution architecture design for a specific SAP S/4HANA functional area.
• Collaborate with AMS partners, business stakeholders, and other SAP functional leads to align technical designs with operational requirements.
• Drive defect resolution, change management, and continuous improvement of the SAP landscape.
• Guide customization efforts, including ABAP development, BTP extensions, and AI integrations.
• Ensure documentation compliance and adherence to SAP standards throughout the implementation.

Required profile

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Proven experience leading SAP technical projects, preferably in automotive distribution or similar supply‑chain contexts.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA implementation lifecycle.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with business, functional, and AMS teams.
