Senior Regional Advisor – Undergraduate Recruitment

About the role

The Senior Regional Advisor will join Texas A&M University’s Undergraduate Recruitment team in Houston, Texas. This senior‑level position drives innovative admission, financial‑aid, and outreach initiatives to attract high‑quality students while mentoring staff and supporting Assistant Directors.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement admission, financial‑aid, and early‑outreach strategies to increase enrollment.
• Mentor, train, and supervise recruitment staff and lead key recruitment programs.
• Provide leadership and support to Assistant Directors in managing recruitment and training initiatives.
• Travel extensively across the region, including evenings and weekends, and handle physical tasks such as moving heavy boxes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) with at least four years in admissions, recruitment, advising, financial aid, or outreach.
• Minimum two years of experience in university admissions and undergraduate recruitment.
• Strong knowledge of financial‑aid programs and federal regulations.
• Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and diverse populations.
