Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) is seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter to support its rapid growth across investment verticals and central teams. The role blends strategic partnership with hiring managers and hands‑on talent acquisition, ensuring a world‑class candidate experience while building diverse pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Source, recruit, and hire top talent for a variety of roles across the firm.
• Design and maintain diverse candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Craft a memorable candidate experience that keeps talent engaged throughout the process.
• Track, analyze, and share recruiting metrics to optimize processes and forecast hiring.
• Partner with senior leaders and hiring managers to develop hiring strategies and coach on best practices.
• Build strong, long‑term relationships with HR Business Partners and cross‑functional teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of recruiting workflows, tools, and systems.

Required profile

• 9+ years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, preferably in fast‑moving, high‑growth environments.
• Proven ability to partner strategically with senior stakeholders and influence hiring decisions.
• Demonstrated success in building diverse talent pipelines and delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience reporting recruiting metrics.
• Flexibility to thrive in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
