Workforce Management Manager – Volume & Labor

About the role

This position leads data‑driven workforce planning and labor optimization for Chipotle’s operations. You will develop forecasting models, analyze volume trends, and partner across functions to align staffing with business goals while ensuring compliance with labor standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain labor forecasting models and algorithms based on business trends and volume projections.
• Analyze volume and workforce data to optimize staffing levels and improve productivity.
• Partner with operations, finance, and HR to align labor strategies with financial and operational objectives.
• Monitor labor performance metrics, identify gaps, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead workforce planning projects and ensure compliance with labor laws, policies, and company standards.
• Provide regular reporting and strategic insights to senior leadership on labor performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in workforce management, labor planning, or related disciplines.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a data‑focused mindset.
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate across multiple functions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Experience with workforce management systems (UKG WFM Pro preferred).
• Proficiency in data analysis tools for forecasting and reporting.

• Base salary range of $99,000 – $140,000 per year.
