Senior Real Estate Specialist

About the role

The Texas A&M University System Offices are seeking a Senior Real Estate Specialist to manage a portfolio of complex real estate transactions, including leasing, acquisition, and disposition of system properties.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all phases of assigned real estate leasing, acquisition, and disposition transactions.
• Manage the transaction process from inception through closing, including negotiations and term determination.
• Draft, review, and issue transactional documents such as term sheets, letters of intent, purchase and sale agreements, deeds, leases, and service agreements.
• Lead due‑diligence activities, reviewing environmental assessments, surveys, property condition reports, title documents, and appraisals.
• Collaborate with system members, legal, treasury, facilities, owners, brokers, title companies, consultants, and developers to ensure seamless transaction progression.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience managing complex real‑estate transactions.
• Proven ability to conduct market and financial analyses for acquisition and disposition.
• Strong knowledge of leasing, appraisal review, and property disposition processes.
• Excellent coordination skills with internal departments and external stakeholders.
