Senior Quality Inspector - Reverse Logistics

About the role

Stryker's US Central Distribution Center in Plainfield is looking for a Senior Quality Inspector to support its reverse logistics operations. This individual contributor role inspects and disposes of product returns coming through the center. The position is onsite, with a travel percentage of 10%, and pays $26.60.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a formal review of product packaging and associated labelling to ensure they meet company and regulatory standards.
• Use engineering drawings, prints and guidance documents to check and assess finished goods accurately.
• Follow and explain detailed instructions and job procedures, including regulatory procedures and policies.
• Use electronic data entry systems and ERP platforms accurately and efficiently.
• Prioritize work effectively across competing demands.
• Apply knowledge of quality discipline procedures and concepts to daily tasks.

Required profile

• 1+ years of experience in the medical device industry or another regulated industry preferred.
• Prior experience with quality control and/or inspection.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP) preferred.
• Ability to exercise professional judgement and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal interpersonal skills.
