Material Handler – Onsite Warehouse Role

About the role

This full‑time, onsite position in Plainfield, IN focuses on efficiently handling, moving, and shipping merchandise within BDA’s fulfillment operations. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work safely with technical equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Load, unload, ship, and receive warehouse items.
• Transport materials throughout the facility and optimize loads for efficiency.
• Operate and manage technical equipment, including RF scanners and vehicle maintenance scheduling.
• Pick, wrap, and prepare orders for shipment while inspecting for damages.
• Identify safety hazards and adhere to production schedules and safety standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1‑2 years of warehouse experience.
• Excellent hand‑eye coordination and physical ability to lift up to 50 lb.
• Strong organizational, mathematical, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with RF scanning equipment.
• Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with Excel.
• Ability to operate technical machinery and vehicles safely.
