Senior Quality Engineer – Drive Quality Innovation

About the role

As a Senior Quality Engineer at 3M, you will collaborate with global teams to ensure new products meet consumer needs, regulatory requirements, and internal standards. You will apply advanced quality tools to accelerate development, mitigate risk, and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead quality initiatives in New Product Introduction (NPI), including House of Quality (HOQ), DQM, MSA, PPAP, PFMEA/DFMEA, and phase‑gate preparation.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, customer specifications, and external regulations.
• Analyze data using statistical techniques to support data‑driven decisions.
• Promote defect reduction through root‑cause analysis, CAPA, Kaizen, 8D, DOE, and Control Plans.
• Review and resolve customer product complaints promptly.
• Support product evolution and change management (CMP) initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (required) and at least 3 years of quality or manufacturing experience.
• Experience in private, public, government, or military environments.
• Strong project‑management background with cross‑functional leadership.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior‑level stakeholders.
