Senior Portfolio Manager - Hybrid

About the role

Stryker is looking for a Senior Portfolio Manager to support its Neurovascular Upstream Marketing team. The position is hybrid in Fremont, CA, with 30% travel. It covers market research, new product development, launch planning and the business case for new products.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and collate competitive information, anticipate customer and patient needs and build a strong value proposition
• Analyze market research results, using qualitative and quantitative methods, and identify industry trends with third-party data
• Lead the new product development (NPDP) process, build the financial business case and ROI model, and deliver the pre-commercialization plan
• Partner with Clinical Affairs on research objectives for evidence generation and with Product Marketing on publication and messaging strategy
• Develop sales tools, channel communication, new marketing channels and tools, and set performance criteria for business trends
• Forecast sales trends, understand customer acquisition versus retention costs, and plan for supply chain interruptions
• Create and communicate the value proposition and develop pricing aligned with the marketing strategy and brand positioning

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree required
• 6+ years of work experience required
• Preferred: MBA, 3+ years of medical device or marketing experience, upstream marketing experience, and excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills

Required skills

• Understanding of statistical significance and basic hypothesis testing
• Use of market research and forecasting variables
• Product lifecycle management (PLCM) planning

Pay range for the United States: $133,400 - $222,300 per year.
