Marketing Department Intern

About the role

Translation Excellence, Inc. (TE) is a language solutions provider offering translation, interpretation, localization and language consulting services worldwide. As a Marketing Department Intern, you choose an industry to focus on and help the marketing team create and implement strategies to promote its language services to that industry.

Key responsibilities

• Create content for marketing channels such as blogs, social media, email campaigns, direct mail and the website
• Help manage social media by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement and building a social media calendar
• Support email marketing campaigns, including list management, content creation and performance tracking
• Conduct market research on potential clients, trends and competitors and summarize findings
• Assist in planning marketing events such as webinars, conferences and workshops
• Assist with graphic design of marketing materials if applicable
• Analyze marketing data, generate reports and recommend improvements
• Collaborate with the marketing team on ideas, plans and initiatives

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in marketing, communications, business or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Creative thinking and a passion for marketing
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team

Required skills

• Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace or similar software
