Senior Planner – Merchandise Planning

About the role

Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking a Senior Planner to lead merchandise planning for its DTC and channel business. Reporting to the Director of Merchandise Planning, you will partner with merchants, allocation teams and inventory managers to shape assortment, forecast sales and manage inventory profitability across the season.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with merchants to set consumer and category productivity targets and develop assortment architecture.
• Build bottom‑up sales and inventory plans, reconcile them with top‑down financial targets and support OTB decisions.
• Drive in‑season activities including forecasts, allocation, replenishment, consumption and receipt flow.
• Analyze monthly retail forecasts, track performance against plans and manage the OTB waterfall from demand to net sales.
• Conduct quantitative analyses to improve line profitability, identify new opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Partner with Retail Merchants, Allocation and Category Inventory Managers to oversee product life‑cycle and seasonal performance.
• Lead cross‑functional projects that support channel and company objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of planning experience, preferably in e‑commerce or direct‑to‑consumer environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting financial measures and influencing stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (complex functions, modeling).
