Senior Oracle Payroll Functional Consultant

About the role

Next Generation, Inc. is looking for a Senior Oracle Payroll Functional Consultant to lead design and delivery of Oracle Payroll solutions. The position is remote with occasional client site visits.

Key responsibilities

• Lead functional design and configuration for Oracle Payroll implementations and enhancements.
• Gather client requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Provide guidance on payroll compliance, calculations, and integrations with other Oracle HCM modules.
• Conduct testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure successful payroll runs.
• Support change management and end‑user training for payroll processes.
• Partner with technical teams to validate integrations and customizations.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 + years of experience with Oracle Payroll in an HCM environment.
• Strong knowledge of payroll rules, fast formulas, and statutory compliance.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll.
• Ability to lead client workshops and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
