Senior Oracle OIC HCM Integration Developer – Payroll & Benefits

About the role

Next Generation, Inc. is seeking a senior developer to design, build, and support integrations for Oracle HCM Cloud payroll and benefits modules. This hybrid position requires six on‑site days per month in Washington, DC and offers a long‑term, full‑time commitment.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and support HCM Cloud applications, focusing on payroll and benefits integrations using SOAP, REST/ATOM, and FBDI file uploads.
• Automate end‑to‑end integration processes, troubleshoot inbound and outbound issues, and provide technical guidance on best‑practice patterns.
• Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to translate requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Track integration workstream status, produce reports, and coordinate with third‑party service providers for code migrations.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience developing Human Capital Management solutions, especially Oracle HCM Cloud.
• Hands‑on expertise with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), BI Publisher, HCM extracts, OTBI reports, and data loading tools.
• Proven ability to design PAAS solutions and provide technical leadership in a team environment.

Required skills

• Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) development, including SOAP and REST web services.
• PL/SQL, Oracle ADF, Oracle BI Publisher.
• Experience with SFTP, XSLT, SQL, FBDI file uploads, HCM Data Loader, Spreadsheet Loader.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP Cloud integration methodologies.
