Senior Mechanical Engineer

About the role

A2H is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer for its Franklin, TN office. The role combines design, project management, and business development for healthcare, commercial, and industrial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in marketing and business development, including proposal development and technical expertise.
• Research, develop, and design equipment, facilities, components, and systems for various project types.
• Manage all phases of mechanical engineering projects, from design development to construction documentation and administration.
• Coordinate project teams to ensure design intent is reflected in construction documents and specifications.
• Prepare detailed plans, specifications, calculations, and engineering solutions meeting client needs and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license, preferably in Tennessee.
• Minimum 10 years of consulting mechanical engineering experience, including HVAC design and client interaction.
• Strong organizational, time‑management, and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Revit and CAD software.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems design, building codes, and construction methods.
