Senior Manager, Renewals

About the role

Reporting to the Director of Renewals, the Senior Manager, Renewals leads the strategy and execution of commercial contract excellence and gross revenue retention for Billtrust customers. The role combines AI‑first enablement, team leadership, and high‑stakes negotiations across a portfolio of accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing renewals team, embedding AI tools into daily workflows and measuring impact on productivity.
• Own the end‑to‑end renewal process, from strategy creation to contract signature, ensuring timely and commercially sound renewals.
• Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Legal, Deal Desk, Finance, Product and SalesOps to align renewal execution with company standards.
• Manage renewal performance reporting, forecasting and operational improvements using AI‑powered insights.

Required profile

• 8+ years in renewals or account management in B2B SaaS, with 3+ years leading teams.
• Proven ability to manage large renewal books, complex pricing negotiations and executive stakeholder communication.
• Track record of driving AI adoption and building AI‑assisted workflows.
• Strong data analysis, reporting and forecasting skills against renewal KPIs.
