Senior Manager II, Site Engineer – Supply Chain

About the role

The Senior Manager II, Site Engineer – Supply Chain leads operational excellence within a Walmart Distribution Center. Reporting to senior leadership, you will partner with the General Manager, Assistant GM and Process Improvement Manager to drive end‑to‑end improvements that reduce loss, increase efficiency, and sustain high performance.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate deep knowledge of distribution‑center work processes and loss‑profile improvement mindsets.
• Create strategic partnerships with senior leaders to identify and execute improvement initiatives.
• Manage the workload of Process Quality Engineers, balancing network‑driven projects with site‑specific enhancements.
• Apply continuous‑improvement tools such as Root Cause Analysis, Time and Motion Studies, Statistical Process Control, Process Deviation analysis, 5S, and Six Sigma.
• Support the Walmart Performance System and Daily Management System through problem‑solving and counter‑measure implementation.
• Drive execution of multiple business plans, removing barriers and measuring progress against performance standards.
• Provide supervision, coaching, and development opportunities for associates, fostering a team‑based, inclusive environment.
• Promote company policies, ethics, and the Open Door Policy while ensuring compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in distribution‑center operations and process improvement.
• Strong leadership and people‑development skills, with a track record of building high‑performing teams.
• Ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
