Senior Manager EDX Program Office

About the role

The Home Depot is looking for a Senior Manager for its EDX Program Office. The role manages store operations processes for specific areas of responsibility and leads projects focused on process improvements that support the needs of stores and the field. It works closely with the Operations Strategy Team and partners with the field and stores.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze the root causes of problems and communicate the right course of action to the team and the resolution to the field.
• Develop and implement changes that improve store operations processes and add value to the stores' bottom line.
• Manage and drive core store operations projects and process improvements, including day-to-day processes, work plans and action steps.
• Handle issues and roadblocks, respond proactively to unanticipated store needs, and build strong partnerships with the field and stores.
• Prepare and deliver high-level insights and recommendations based on industry, business, competitive and consumer data, and provide guidance and training in the area of expertise.
• Select, terminate, appraise and develop the support team of Business Analysts (typically 2-5 direct reports).

Required profile

• Age 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a field related to the job.
• 3 years of retail experience or process management in a related area preferred; 5 years preferred.
• Strong business, functional and store knowledge, leadership and management experience preferred.
• Overnight travel under 10% of the time; mostly sitting work with occasional lifting of light items.

Required skills

• Strong quantitative skills, including statistics and data analysis.
• Good communication and partnership skills with the field and stores.
• Strategic thinking and a high sense of urgency in responding to field needs.
• Preferred: PMI certification.
