Senior Manager, Corporate Communications

About the role

Ouster is looking for a senior‑level Corporate Communications professional to join its Public Affairs team. The role will drive the company’s storytelling engine, ensuring consistent messaging across all external and internal channels while collaborating directly with the C‑suite and cross‑functional partners.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain an integrated communications calendar to coordinate press releases, social media, events, and product launches.
• Lead the creation and approval process for corporate announcements, product launch releases, and customer win stories.
• Ensure core corporate messaging is applied consistently across investor materials, the website, marketing content, and social platforms.
• Manage the relationship with the external PR agency, directing outreach, vetting media inquiries, and aligning activities with business goals.
• Prepare briefing materials and talking points for executive speaking engagements and media interviews.
• Partner with People and Legal teams to develop internal communications that keep the global workforce aligned on strategy, compliance, news, and culture.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of corporate communications experience, preferably in a tech‑driven, publicly traded environment.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong storytelling ability to translate technical and financial data into clear narratives.
• Comfortable navigating public‑company regulatory requirements.
• Collaborative “doer” who builds relationships across functions to gather information.
