Senior Maintenance Technician – Roving North Region

About the role

The Greystar Flex Team supports multiple communities across the North region of Western Washington, covering cities such as Seattle, Bellevue and surrounding areas. As a Senior Maintenance Technician you will rotate among properties, handling resident requests, make‑ready turnovers and routine upkeep while enjoying a flexible, project‑based schedule and a $300 car allowance.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and preventative maintenance work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Perform exterior cleaning, pressure‑washing, trash removal and minor painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete OSHA training and report incidents promptly.

Required profile

• Proven experience with hand and power tools, basic plumbing, appliance repair, entry‑level carpentry and painting.
• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
