Maintenance Supervisor for Multifamily Community

About the role

Tapestry has an immediate opening for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor. The role oversees and performs technical and mechanical work to ensure buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Manage outside vendors, follow up on warranties and coordinate repairs.
• Develop and enforce standards for property cleanliness and appearance.
• Supervise up to five maintenance employees and delegate resident work orders.
• Assist with budgeting for regular repairs, maintenance and capital expense projects.
• Perform preventative maintenance, hot‑water heater repairs and basic carpentry tasks.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent with relevant maintenance experience.
• Extensive maintenance management experience in multifamily housing.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools and mechanical equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Required skills

• Hot‑water heater repair and maintenance.
• Basic carpentry and knowledge of roofing materials (shingle, BUR membrane, EPDM).
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and measuring devices.
• MS Office Suite.
• Property management software (Yardi, One Site).
