About the role

We are seeking a senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in bare‑metal server deployment and enterprise storage. The role focuses on designing, building, administering, and troubleshooting large‑scale Linux environments, complementing our existing DevOps team.

Key responsibilities

Design, deploy and maintain bare‑metal Linux servers (Ubuntu primary, Red Hat/SUSE preferred) including BIOS, RAID, firmware and remote management interfaces.
Architect and operate enterprise storage solutions: LVM, XFS, EXT4, NFS, iSCSI, Fibre Channel SAN, Multipath I/O.
Implement and manage Ceph clusters (MON, OSD, MDS, RBD, CephFS, RGW) with capacity planning, performance tuning and failure recovery.
Configure networking (bonding, VLANs, routing, MTU, DNS, DHCP) and ensure high‑availability, clustering and disaster‑recovery capabilities.
Automate routine tasks using Bash and Python scripting.

Required profile

Several years of hands‑on experience running enterprise Linux infrastructures from hardware up.
Strong troubleshooting skills across OS, hardware, networking and storage layers.
Ability to work independently on complex infrastructure projects.
