Senior IT Systems Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineer to design, implement, and manage our organization’s IT infrastructure. The role covers servers, networks, storage, and cloud services, ensuring performance, scalability, and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Windows and Linux server environments, virtualization platforms, and cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Develop system optimization, capacity planning, and scalability strategies.
• Architect and maintain cloud infrastructure, overseeing security and compliance.
• Design robust network solutions, including firewalls, switches, VPNs, and monitor performance.
• Proactively monitor systems with tools such as Nagios, SolarWinds, or Splunk, handling updates, patch management, and backups.
• Lead complex IT projects, coordinate with cross‑functional teams, and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of experience in IT systems engineering or administration.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects from concept to completion.
