Senior Frontend Engineer – Growth (USA Only, 100% Remote)

About the role

Close is looking for a senior frontend engineer to join its Growth team. You will help shape the onboarding, activation, billing and checkout experiences that turn new sign‑ups into paying, long‑term customers. The role is fully remote and focused on rapid experimentation and AI‑powered UI development.

Key responsibilities

• Build an agent‑forward onboarding UI where an AI agent teaches users by interacting with the app.
• Create the “inbox‑to‑CRM” experience that extracts deals and contacts from a user’s email.
• Design and implement experiments, define funnels, and instrument metrics in Amplitude.
• Collaborate across the entire product surface—onboarding, activation, billing, imports—to deliver growth experiments.
• Ship prototypes quickly, then standardize and clean up based on learnings.
• Shape the frontend engineering process for the Growth team, influencing architecture and best practices.

Required profile

• Seasoned frontend engineer comfortable with React and willing to evaluate other frameworks when appropriate.
• Fluent in designing and analyzing experiments, especially in B2B contexts.
• Experience building AI‑powered interfaces and understanding of LLM‑driven UI patterns.
• Daily user of AI development tools and a strong advocate for rapid iteration.
• Builder mindset: prioritize shipping functional features before perfecting them.
