Senior Factory Engineering Manager

About the role

The Senior Manager, Factory Engineering is a strategic leader responsible for shaping the future of our manufacturing operations. This role drives engineering excellence across capital projects, asset reliability, utilities, compliance, and sustainability while fostering a culture where safety, quality, and environmental stewardship come first.

Key responsibilities

• Define and monitor Factory Engineering team plans, aligning with Nestlé Engineering Excellence principles.
• Drive equipment reliability through TPM and improve maintenance cost structure.
• Lead capital project execution, develop and execute the capital market business strategy.
• Ensure full compliance with utilities systems and drive plant sustainability objectives.
• Oversee electrical and automation reliability, develop automation plans, and maintain calibration standards.
• Lead process and packaging innovation, coordinating new technology implementation with market and product teams.

Required profile

• University degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Process Engineering or equivalent with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership/management experience.
• Knowledge of food safety, regulatory requirements and hygienic engineering preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial analysis, CAPEX budgeting, asset and maintenance management.
• Experience in project engineering/management, plant design and construction.
