Encapsulation Operator – 1st Shift

About the role

The Encapsulation Operator works on the production line to operate machinery and equipment, ensuring product quality and quantity while following SOPs and GMPs. The position is on the 1st shift, 6:00 AM‑2:30 PM, 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime or weekend work as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Match labels with batch records to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of machine faults and routine maintenance according to manuals.
• Load, unload, set‑up, clean, adjust and disassemble machinery as required.
• Enter production data using paper records, computers and iPads.
• Maintain compliance with cGMP, SOPs and safety standards.

Required profile

• 0‑2 years of experience in a factory environment (preferred).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to read, write and understand simple English instructions.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb repeatedly and stand for long periods.

Required skills

• Use of computers and iPad for data entry.
• Basic machine troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
• Understanding of inventory adjustments and basic manufacturing equipment.
